The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued a new warning about cybercriminals who are exploiting the use of beta-testing apps to steal critical personal data from users. Beta-testing apps are services that allow app developers to test mobile apps before they are officially released. However, beta-testing apps are usually not subjected to the review processes of a mobile operating system. In a public service announcement released this August, the FBI warned that cybercriminals are “embedding malicious code in mobile beta-testing applications” to defraud their potential victims. The agency also warned that cybercriminals will often try phishing or romance scams to establish communications with the victim. After gaining their trust, the victims will be instructed to download a mobile beta-testing app hidden within a mobile beta-testing app environment, “promising incentives such as large financial payouts.” Malicious apps allow hackers to steal personal info Here are some potential red flags of a malicious app: Smartphone slows down when processing a request Faster-draining mobile battery The installation of unauthorized apps without the owner’s knowledge Exposure to persistent pop-up ads According to the FBI, these malicious apps allow hackers to steal personally identifiable information. The apps can also be used to access the financial accounts of victims and to take over their devices. The apps may look legitimate because hackers will use names, images or descriptions similar to popular apps. The agency advised users to always check app developer and customer reviews before downloading any app. Users were also warned to restrict app permissions and uninstall apps they’re no longer using. Other malicious apps may request access to permissions that don’t have anything to do with its stated functionality. For example, if an app description has spelling and grammatical errors or provides vague, generic information while details of functionality are missing, the FBI warned that people could be trying to download a malicious app. The FBI said it is already aware of various fraud schemes where unidentified cyber-criminals contact victims on dating and networking apps and instruct them to download mobile beta-testing apps, such as cryptocurrency exchanges, that “enable theft.” Because they believe they are talking to a real person, the victims will enter their legitimate account details into the app. Next, they will be sending money they think will be invested in cryptocurrency, but instead, the victim’s funds are sent to the cyber-criminals instead. The FBI warned that if smartphone users were to download a fraudulent app that is being advertised as a legitimate crypto investment app, they may end up losing money through fake investments. Additionally, it warned people to avoid sending payment to anyone with whom they have only spoken online, even if it seems like they “have established a relationship with the individual.” The agency advised users to also avoid opening an email, email attachment or message if they seem suspicious even if the installed antivirus software claims that they are safe to open. People should also be careful of unsolicited attachments, even when they come from known individuals, warned the FBI. The agency told users not to download or use suspicious-looking apps as a tool for investing unless they can “verify the legitimacy of the app.” Users were also told to be aware of a sense of urgency or threats, such as an email or notification warning them that “your account will be closed” if they don’t comply or a message telling them that they must “act now.” (Related: More than 376M SCAM messages sent daily to steal money, clone voices of Americans.) Beta-testing, crypto-romance and more: FBI warns internet users about app-hacking techniques The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued a new warning about cybercriminals who are exploiting the use of beta-testing apps…

Most of the independent media coverage about the Maui “fire” is focused on the mismanagement of the disaster by corrupt government agencies like FEMA, and by questionable non-profit organizations like the American Red Cross, both of which are reportedly depriving locals and other survivors of much-needed emergency resources. But what about the censorship of commercial pilots who saw firsthand what happened – or more importantly, what may not have actually happened – that fateful day? An investigation into the reports that commercial pilots normally file concerning things they see or encounter during a flight has found that a shocking 30 percent, at least, of all PIREPs (pilot reports) filed with air traffic control (ATC) from Kahului Airport (OGG) in the center of Maui are missing, which begs the question: why? According to Maui County, the Lahaina “fire” – the reason for “fire” being in quotes will become clearer as you read the rest of this story – started on the morning of August 8 and was declared 100 percent contained shortly before 9 a.m. the very same day. Despite this, the mainstream media continued to talk about the fires long past August 8. A NOTAM (notice to airmen) temporary flight restriction (TFR) was later issued on August 14 Hawaii time, and is scheduled to end on August 23. The stated reason for this is to provide a safe environment for firefighting, but why would this be needed if the fire was put out on August 8? (Related: Another theory is that climate-obsessed leftist terrorists plotted Lahaina’s destruction to spread more fear and anxiety about global warming.) Targeted DEWs are likely what took out Lahaina, not a “wildfire” It would seem as though someone wants to keep the airspace in and around Lahaina clear well past the time when the “fire” ended. And that same someone, or someones, does not want the general public to access many of the PIREPs that were filed by commercial pilots on August 8. “This means that the PIREPs and any other ATC communication that took place that day is something that Big Brother doesn’t want the world to know,” says Citizen Watch Report about the matter. “I wonder what all the pilots saw and what they reported. If anybody knows any pilots who flew in or out of OGG on August 8, it is imperative one reaches out to them and learn the truth.” The only reason to censor PIREPs from the day is to hide the truth of what really happened from the general public. If, in fact, this was another directed energy weapon (DEW) event, then pilots may have seen that there was no actual wildfire, and instead a targeted weapon being used on the people of Lahaina in order to steal their land. Consider the “miracle” house, which was the only structure to mysteriously survive the “fire” completely unscathed, along with the open grass parcel right next to it. Notice in the photos embedded in the above-linked article that the “fire” perfectly avoided this historic structure. And notice how the Honolulu Civil Beat does not skip a beat in trying to explain it away as having to do with the building’s materials, which supposedly saved it from burning. Looking at those photos, it sure seems like the DEW’s were instructed to burn down everything in the area except that historic structure, which almost looks like it was computer-edited to look unscathed, but the building and property are, in fact, there and undamaged. “The shape of these fires in Maui (a perfect ellipse) combined with the fact that boats on the water were burning and that Oprah Winfrey’s mansion was spared makes me think a Directed Energy Weapon was used to start the fires,” one commenter further noted. Nothing makes sense about the Maui fire in terms of the official story. You can keep up with the latest news about it at FalseFlag.news. Recently released graphic body camera footage showed a 37-year-old gunman open firing on Fargo police, killing a rookie cop who’d only been on the job for three months and critically injuring two others. The gunman was shot dead by 32-year-old Officer Zach Robinson, ending the nearly two-minute assault. On July 14, Mohamad Barakat, a Syrian asylum seeker, parked his car in Fargo, North Dakota, near two vehicles that crashed on a busy road. When the cops arrived to respond to the crash, he seized his moment, opening fire. The police said that Barakat was armed with 1800 rounds of ammunition, multiple firearms, tactical gear, a grenade, three canisters of gasoline and two propane tanks filled with Tannerite, which is a highly explosive material. He had enough explosives to obliterate a crowd in what would have been a catastrophic domestic terrorist attack had it not been thwarted. We’ve got three officers down. Send everybody.” Wallin was shot first. He was taking his weapon out of its holster and was a nanosecond away from firing his own gun when he was fatally injured. Dotas was then hit with multiple rounds and struggled to his feet at one point but went back down, North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley said during a press conference where the state officials released Robinson’s bodycam footage. Hawes also was hit multiple times, shot through his right arm, and unable to stand up to walk, but crawled to Dotas’ side, “to be at his side, to be holding his hand, to be calling his name, to be willing him to live,” Wrigley said. The July 14 dated video showed the three officers lying motionless on the ground as Robinson nears Barakat’s vehicle. Barakat also shot a woman fleeing the scene before he was exterminated by Robinson, who shot Barakat 31 times in total. The gunman somehow survived the majority of the shots and continued to reach for his weapon before eventually being taken out. According to an X post of @KanekoaTheGreat, authorities believe Barakat’s ambush was the prelude to a larger attack that day, with a potential target of the Downtown Fargo Street Fair attended by thousands. The day before the shooting, he Googled “area events where there are crowds” which led him to an article about the Downtown Fargo Street Fair, which was taking place on the same day. His search history also included “explosive ammo,” “incendiary rounds” and “mass shooting events.” Barakat moved to the U.S. in 2012 and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2019. Before the incident, his only crime or infraction was a speeding ticket. The shooting investigation remains active and is “proceeding to its logical conclusion,” Wrigley said. A news-worthy incident that received crickets from MSM How could such a harrowing incident be missed by mainstream media? People are wondering why they didn’t hear about the ambush and subsequent shooting of Barakat when it took place. “Unreal,” said Frontlines reporter Kalen D’Almeida. “Evidently, a month ago there was a Syrian terrorist in Fargo, North Dakota shooting cops. Wild that there isn’t anyone involved in MSM coming forward about being roadblocked from reporting on this story. Why is that?” Wild that there isn’t anyone involved in MSM coming forward about being roadblocked from reporting on this story. Why is that? — Kalen D’Almeida (@fromkalen) August 18, 2023 If not for the press conference, the dramatic video of the shooting would not have been released when the gunman’s behavior had already caught the attention of authorities in the past. In a report provided to the Associated Press by the City of Fargo Fire Department, Battalion Chief Jason Ness noted what appeared to be “a significant amount of gun ammunition,” “multiple ‘assault style’ rifles,” a 20-pound propane cylinder in a bedroom, a second smaller propane cylinder in the kitchen, and “a funnel, blender and other items that looked to be for measuring purposes,” according to the outlet. The police were notified, but all the guns were determined to be legally owned. And last week, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Fargo Police Department revealed that the intel agency had “received an anonymous tip about Barakat in July 2021 in which concerns were expressed about his mental state, that he had access to a ‘significant number of firearms’ and that he had used threatening language,” AP reported. When the Fargo police visited Barakat, he “denied any ill-intentions.” According to Wrigley, there was a ‘suggestion’ the gunman may have been on an FBI Guardian list but the FBI has not yet confirmed that he was on it. When SHTF, whether due to societal collapse or a large-scale natural disaster, you will realize that going on a quick trip to the nearest store or pharmacy to stock up on supplies won’t always be an option. Visiting a doctor might not be possible either. But before things go south, you can learn about natural remedies for common aches and pains. Keeping a fully stocked natural medicine kit at home ensures that you can handle situations demanding medical attention. Knowing how to use a natural medicine kit can also help you get closer to a healthier and toxin-free lifestyle. Incorporating natural remedies like essential oils and herbs can help you minimize your exposure to artificial chemicals and additives often found in conventional over-the-counter drugs. (h/t to TheSurvivalMom.com) Adding these 10 useful items to your prepper first aid is necessary if you want to treat minor injuries, aches and pains after SHTF: Amber bottles with eyedroppers and small tins You will need amber bottles with eyedroppers and small tins to store your homemade essential oil mixes, creams and salves. It is best to buy or repurpose clean amber or dark-blue glass bottles because light can degrade many natural substances. Oxygen can quickly turn oils rancid, so keep all bottles and tins tightly capped. Aloe vera plant Aloe vera can help soothe a sunburn. You can use aloe vera gel for wound care and for treating insect bites. Avoid using aloe vera gel on third- or fourth-degree burns or severe sunburns because these injuries require medical attention. If possible, use pure aloe vera gel from an organically grown plant as commercially available aloe vera gel contains additives. Growing an aloe vera plant at home ensures you can easily harvest the gel without needing to go to the store. Aloe vera is a hardy plant and it can thrive indoors and outdoors. Coconut oil While coconut oil is great for cooking, it has other uses outside the kitchen. Coconut oil can also be used as a carrier oil for essential oils and as a skin lotion. To save money, buy coconut oil in large quantities and store it properly for later use. Essential oils With proper usage, essential oils are a versatile ingredient for various remedies. Here are some essential oils and how to use them for aromatherapy and relaxation: Use bergamot or ylang ylang essential oils for relaxation. Use chamomile or lavender essential oils for better sleep. Use jasmine or lemon essential oils to improve your mood. Use peppermint essential oil to wake up. Use orange essential oils to soothe anxiety. First aid essential supplies Your first aid kit should also include basic items like bandages in different sizes, gauze and medical tape. Keep basic first aid items and a first aid reference book in your survival first aid kit at home and in your bug-out bag. Lamb’s ear plant The lamb’s ear plant is a functional resource. The plant can be used as a natural bandage and boasts antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial qualities. (Related: 8 Ways to deal with chronic pain while prepping.) Midwifery book If there is any chance that an adult woman living in your house could become pregnant, you will need a midwifery or birthing reference book. Study the book well and do your research so you can offer help when seeking immediate medical care is not possible. Teas Like essential oils, herbal teas can address different issues like drowsiness, insomnia and an upset stomach. Teas can also help boost your vitamin intake. Chamomile tea Chamomile tea has calming effects and is frequently used as a natural sleep aid. According to studies, chamomile tea can help improve sleep quality in older adults and postpartum women. Experts also suggest that chamomile has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and liver-protecting effects. Echinacea tea Echinacea tea may help prevent and treat the common cold. Research shows that echinacea can boost the immune system, which could help your body fight infections. Ginger tea Ginger tea contains disease-fighting antioxidants and is a common remedy for nausea. Studies consistently find that ginger is effective at relieving nausea, especially in early pregnancy. Ginger also helps relieve nausea caused by cancer treatments and surgery. According to studies, ginger may help relieve indigestion, prevent stomach ulcers and reduce pain associated with menstruation. Hibiscus tea Hibiscus tea is known for its bold color and unique flavor. Some studies suggest that hibiscus could significantly reduce total and LDL (bad) cholesterol, along with blood pressure. Taking hibiscus tea extract can also significantly decrease oxidative stress. If you are not used to drinking hibiscus tea, consult a natural health practitioner for proper usage as it may interact with your medications. Lemon balm tea Lemon balm tea has a light, lemony flavor and may offer some health benefits. According to a small study, drinking lemon balm tea can help with arterial stiffness (a risk factor for heart disease), stroke and mental decline. Research also suggests that drinking lemon balm tea could increase the body’s natural antioxidant enzymes, which help protect against oxidative damage. Another review showed that lemon balm could help improve symptoms of depression and anxiety without serious side effects. Peppermint tea While peppermint tea is often used to support digestive health, it also has antioxidant, anticancer, antibacterial and antiviral properties. Research has found that peppermint oil can help relieve nausea, indigestion, stomach pain and other symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Vitamin E ointment A vitamin E ointment can help treat skin rashes. Vodka You can check guides and recipes online to learn how to infuse vodka with different medicinal herbs or plants to make tonics. A hot pepper tonic can hasten recovery from colds and congestion. How to do a skin patch test and why you need to test for skin irritation If it is your first time using natural remedies, perform a skin patch test to check for skin irritation. Always test a small amount of diluted essential oils or salves on a small area of skin before using it on a larger area. If you notice any redness, discomfort or itching, stop using it and thoroughly wash the area with soap and water. If the skin irritation persists, consult a healthcare professional. When to see a doctor While a natural medicine kit can be useful for treating common aches, pains and minor ailments, it’s important to know when to seek medical attention from a doctor. If you or someone you’re treating experiences severe or worsening symptoms, consult a doctor immediately. A doctor’s expertise is essential for diagnosing and treating more serious conditions, ensuring that proper medical care is provided when necessary. Your natural medicine kit will be a valuable complement to conventional healthcare, especially during a long-term survival scenario when it is impossible to buy or access medicinal supplies. However, knowing the limits of self-care and recognizing when expert medical guidance is needed is important for your well-being, particularly when dealing with severe injuries and health conditions.
