The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued a new warning about cybercriminals who are exploiting the use of beta-testing apps to steal critical personal data from users. Beta-testing apps are services that allow app developers to test mobile apps before they are officially released. However, beta-testing apps are usually not subjected to the review processes of a mobile operating system. In a public service announcement released this August, the FBI warned that cybercriminals are “embedding malicious code in mobile beta-testing applications” to defraud their potential victims. The agency also warned that cybercriminals will often try phishing or romance scams to establish communications with the victim. After gaining their trust, the victims will be instructed to download a mobile beta-testing app hidden within a mobile beta-testing app environment, “promising incentives such as large financial payouts.” Malicious apps allow hackers to steal personal info Here are some potential red flags of a malicious app: Smartphone slows down when processing a request Faster-draining mobile battery The installation of unauthorized apps without the owner’s knowledge Exposure to persistent pop-up ads According to the FBI, these malicious apps allow hackers to steal personally identifiable information. The apps can also be used to access the financial accounts of victims and to take over their devices. The apps may look legitimate because hackers will use names, images or descriptions similar to popular apps. The agency advised users to always check app developer and customer reviews before downloading any app. Users were also warned to restrict app permissions and uninstall apps they’re no longer using. Other malicious apps may request access to permissions that don’t have anything to do with its stated functionality. For example, if an app description has spelling and grammatical errors or provides vague, generic information while details of functionality are missing, the FBI warned that people could be trying to download a malicious app. The FBI said it is already aware of various fraud schemes where unidentified cyber-criminals contact victims on dating and networking apps and instruct them to download mobile beta-testing apps, such as cryptocurrency exchanges, that “enable theft.” Because they believe they are talking to a real person, the victims will enter their legitimate account details into the app. Next, they will be sending money they think will be invested in cryptocurrency, but instead, the victim’s funds are sent to the cyber-criminals instead. The FBI warned that if smartphone users were to download a fraudulent app that is being advertised as a legitimate crypto investment app, they may end up losing money through fake investments. Additionally, it warned people to avoid sending payment to anyone with whom they have only spoken online, even if it seems like they “have established a relationship with the individual.” The agency advised users to also avoid opening an email, email attachment or message if they seem suspicious even if the installed antivirus software claims that they are safe to open. People should also be careful of unsolicited attachments, even when they come from known individuals, warned the FBI. The agency told users not to download or use suspicious-looking apps as a tool for investing unless they can “verify the legitimacy of the app.” Users were also told to be aware of a sense of urgency or threats, such as an email or notification warning them that “your account will be closed” if they don’t comply or a message telling them that they must “act now.” (Related: More than 376M SCAM messages sent daily to steal money, clone voices of Americans.) In a failed attempt to empathize with the victims of the recent wildfires in Hawaii’s Maui island, President Joe Biden claimed he understood the victims by comparing the wildfires to almost losing his car and his cat in a kitchen fire. The wildfires that swept through Maui, centered mostly in the town of Lahaina, had already killed at least 115 people and left another 850 missing. He responded by giving a speech to a crowd in Lahaina where he claimed he knew how it felt to lose a home. (Related: Head of Maui’s emergency management agency resigns amid criticism for not sounding alert sirens during wildfire.) He told the crowd: “I don’t want to compare difficulties, but we have a little sense – Jill and I – of what it’s like to lose a home. “Years ago now – 15 years ago – I was in Washington … [when] lightning struck at home, on a little lake that’s outside of our home – not a lake, a big pond – and hit a wire that came up underneath our home into the heating ducts and air conditioning ducts. To make a long story short, I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette and my cat. “I watched the firefighters, the way they responded … You’re all crazy, thank God. People who run into flames to save other people – and they ran into flames to save my wife, to save my family – not a joke. “We were insured, we did not have any problem. But being out of our home for the better part of a year was difficult. I can only imagine what it’s like to lose your home.” Biden’s false story about possibly losing a car and a cat was not received well. “Joe Biden is a piece of garbage, in my opinion,” said Attorney Thomas Renz on the Aug. 22 episode of his Brighteon.TV program “Lawfare with Tom Renz.” “Biden – who just went over to Hawaii and told everybody about his cat catching fire – told residents whose children died in fires, … who’d lost everything, he told them about almost losing a cat.” “Joe Biden feels the pain of Lahaina [by] talking about his kitchen fire,” said “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Will Cain. One restaurant owner in the nearby town of Kihei said in an interview that Biden’s comment was “the most despicable thing this president has ever said.” Biden’s aid to Hawaii wildfire victims? Just $700 Biden’s story about possibly losing his car and his cat as one part of his insured home caught fire comes as his administration offered the victims of the wildfires a mere $700 per household. This one-time check is meant to address “immediate needs” like water, food and clothing. Maui residents and victims of the wildfires even pointed out the disparity between the aid provided to American citizens and the aid sent to other countries, particularly Ukraine. During Biden’s visit, many protesters held up signs comparing the assistance already available for the people of Hawaii. To date, the Biden administration has only approved around $8.2 million in assistance to 2,700 households in Maui. There are nearly 54,000 households on the island. Meanwhile, the Biden administration announced a further $200 million in security assistance heading straight for Kyiv as the wildfires were engulfing hundreds of homes. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) claimed in its official data that it has already given around $2.3 million to just half of the 2,700 households eligible to receive the $700 checks. On its website, FEMA claims to have approved $3.17 million in aid, of which $1.42 million is for “individual and households program” assistance and $1.75 million is for “other needs assistance.” None of the figures coming out from the government paint Biden’s administration in a positive light. The White House struggles to spend more than a handful of a million for American citizens caught in a disaster, yet readily sends hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars overseas. “He gave them $700 and left,” said Renz. “Meanwhile, he gave billions of dollars to the Nazi regime in Ukraine.” Watch the full Aug. 22 episode of “Lawfare with Tom Renz” below. Lawfare with Tom Renz: Biden FAILS to empathize with Maui wildfire victims by comparing disaster to kitchen fire – Brighteon.TV In a failed attempt to empathize with the victims of…

Getting out of Lahaina in time to beat the Maui Fire disaster turned out to be a major challenge as government officials blockaded all exit routes, we are told, which forced people to either defy the rules and sneak out anyway or die in the fiery inferno. Residents who tried to escape that fateful day encountered numerous Hawaiian Electric work trucks that were in the process of replacing telephone poles along the road to Highway 30. The electricians manning the vehicles and overseeing the work told residents to turn around and go back to Lahaina per the government’s orders. Some residents obeyed and were later found dead inside their cars, while others swerved around the barricade or used nearby dirt roads to get out of dodge before the event occurred. “It made no sense what they were doing,” said local resident Cole Millington. “They could see the sky was black. They could see the city was on fire. They could see the wind was still whipping everything around. But they were already starting to plant new power poles.” Check out the following screenshots from the Associated Press (AP), which covered the blockades and the resulting deaths: According to a report by AP, the only road out of Lahaina was barricaded. Only those who disobeyed survived. pic.twitter.com/uQNNZ806RZ — Dr. Benjamin Braddock (@GraduatedBen) August 23, 2023 (Related: Check out these nine questions that many are asking about the highly suspicious Maui Fire.) The government must be held accountable for MURDERING Lahaina residents and visitors Some residents who failed to escape Lahaina due to the government barricades ultimately ended up jumping from their cars into the Pacific Ocean. Some of their bodies later washed up in Lana’i, an island across the Auau Channel from Lahaina. “The gridlock would have left us there when the firestorm came,” said Kim Cuevas-Reyes, another local resident who ended up having to drive on the wrong side of the road in order to escape. “I would have had to tell my children to jump into the ocean as well and be boiled alive by the flames or we would have just died from smoke inhalation and roasted in the car.” Approximately 2,170 acres in Lahaina ended up getting scorched in what many now believe was a directed energy weapons (DEW) event designed to clear out Lahaina and make way for the rich and powerful to assume ownership and control over it. “It turns out that ignoring the government is a good idea,” one commenter wrote about how the only people who survived the Lahaina fire were those who just said no to the government’s orders. “It probably cost the taxpayers a couple of million to have the Marble Mouth come over to Lahaina yesterday,” wrote another, referring, of course, to fake president Joe Biden. “That money could have bought a lot of groceries and temporary hotel rooms for displaced families. But they should feel better knowing that Joe’s FEMA people are staying at the Fairmont and Four Seasons enjoying $2k a night five-star rooms and prepared five-star food, while the families have no money, no homes, no cars, and missing friends and kids.” Others noted that this is exactly what the government is training people to do: obey their every order, even to their own demise. “They dream of a society where every edict they issue is blindly followed, regardless of the circumstances,” one wrote. “And people are following along. That’s not how I was raised and I’ll never be a lemming.” By all appearances, the Maui Fire was another false flag attack on America. Learn more at FalseFlag.news. The only West Maui residents who survived Lahaina fire are those who DISOBEYED official orders telling them to stay put Getting out of Lahaina in time to beat the Maui…

Most of the independent media coverage about the Maui “fire” is focused on the mismanagement of the disaster by corrupt government agencies like FEMA, and by questionable non-profit organizations like the American Red Cross, both of which are reportedly depriving locals and other survivors of much-needed emergency resources. But what about the censorship of commercial pilots who saw firsthand what happened – or more importantly, what may not have actually happened – that fateful day? An investigation into the reports that commercial pilots normally file concerning things they see or encounter during a flight has found that a shocking 30 percent, at least, of all PIREPs (pilot reports) filed with air traffic control (ATC) from Kahului Airport (OGG) in the center of Maui are missing, which begs the question: why? According to Maui County, the Lahaina “fire” – the reason for “fire” being in quotes will become clearer as you read the rest of this story – started on the morning of August 8 and was declared 100 percent contained shortly before 9 a.m. the very same day. Despite this, the mainstream media continued to talk about the fires long past August 8. A NOTAM (notice to airmen) temporary flight restriction (TFR) was later issued on August 14 Hawaii time, and is scheduled to end on August 23. The stated reason for this is to provide a safe environment for firefighting, but why would this be needed if the fire was put out on August 8? (Related: Another theory is that climate-obsessed leftist terrorists plotted Lahaina’s destruction to spread more fear and anxiety about global warming.) Targeted DEWs are likely what took out Lahaina, not a “wildfire” It would seem as though someone wants to keep the airspace in and around Lahaina clear well past the time when the “fire” ended. And that same someone, or someones, does not want the general public to access many of the PIREPs that were filed by commercial pilots on August 8. “This means that the PIREPs and any other ATC communication that took place that day is something that Big Brother doesn’t want the world to know,” says Citizen Watch Report about the matter. “I wonder what all the pilots saw and what they reported. If anybody knows any pilots who flew in or out of OGG on August 8, it is imperative one reaches out to them and learn the truth.” The only reason to censor PIREPs from the day is to hide the truth of what really happened from the general public. If, in fact, this was another directed energy weapon (DEW) event, then pilots may have seen that there was no actual wildfire, and instead a targeted weapon being used on the people of Lahaina in order to steal their land. Consider the “miracle” house, which was the only structure to mysteriously survive the “fire” completely unscathed, along with the open grass parcel right next to it. Notice in the photos embedded in the above-linked article that the “fire” perfectly avoided this historic structure. And notice how the Honolulu Civil Beat does not skip a beat in trying to explain it away as having to do with the building’s materials, which supposedly saved it from burning. Looking at those photos, it sure seems like the DEW’s were instructed to burn down everything in the area except that historic structure, which almost looks like it was computer-edited to look unscathed, but the building and property are, in fact, there and undamaged. “The shape of these fires in Maui (a perfect ellipse) combined with the fact that boats on the water were burning and that Oprah Winfrey’s mansion was spared makes me think a Directed Energy Weapon was used to start the fires,” one commenter further noted. Nothing makes sense about the Maui fire in terms of the official story. You can keep up with the latest news about it at FalseFlag.news. Commercial pilots who flew over Maui “fire” day of incident being CENSORED: Was it a DEW attack? Most of the independent media coverage about the Maui “fire” is focused on…

President Joe Biden told survivors of the wildfires that ravaged the Hawaiian island of Maui that he has a “sense of what it’s like to lose a home.” In reality, he only experienced a small kitchen fire that was brought under control within minutes. During an appearance at the Lahaina Civic Center, he addressed victims by recounting an August 2004 fire that happened at his home in Delaware. “I don’t want to compare difficulties, but we have a little sense – [First Lady] Jill and I – [of] what it’s like to lose a home,” Biden said. “To make a long story short – I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette and my cat. But all kidding aside, I watched the firefighters [and] the way they responded. They ran into flames to save my wife and save my family. Not a joke.” But a report by the Associated Press (AP) about the fire in the Bidens’ home contradicted the president’s claim. According to the August 2004 report, the fire began after lightning struck Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. The blaze was “contained to the kitchen” and did not spread to other parts of the house. “Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the house, but were able to keep the flames from spreading beyond the kitchen,” said George Lamborn, chief of the Cranston Heights Fire Company. He added that the fire at the Bidens’ residence “was under control in 20 minutes.” No one was injured in the incident, the AP report added. Aside from this, the president also insensitively joked about the wildfires while visiting the ruins of Lahaina town. The Aug. 21 exchange happened as Biden mingled with a first responder. “You guys catch the boots out here? That’s a hot ground, man,” the president quipped. This prompted laughter from the people nearby. The insensitive joke and the blatant lie were delivered as Biden arrived on the island to survey the damage in Lahaina, located at the island’s western portion, after 13 days. He told survivors: “The country grieves with you, stands with you and will do everything possible to help you recover, rebuild and respect culture and traditions.” (Related: Chinese state media (justifiably) MOCKS Biden’s INCOMPETENCE in handling Hawaii wildfires.) Rep. Fry: Biden’s visit to Maui “cringeworthy” According to Breitbart, an estimated 480 people have died in the conflagration. More than 800 are still missing, with Hawaii Gov. Josh Green saying children likely comprise the majority of those unaccounted for. The president’s visit, alongside his quips, did not sit well with at least two Republican congressmen. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer from Minnesota expressed his disgust in a statement to Breitbart. “Biden blundering in times of crisis is as predictable as a snowy Minnesota winter; it’s inevitable,” the congressman said. “If his presidency has taught us anything, it’s to not hold your breath for competent leadership from this White House.” Meanwhile, South Carolina Rep. Russell Fry chided the chief executive’s visit to the island during an appearance on Fox Business. He told the network’s Cheryl Casone that the Biden administration’s “American last policies … were on full display” at that time. “I mean, it was the most cringeworthy visit of a disaster area that I’ve ever seen. That comment [about the 2004 fire at his home], the comment about the ground being hot, showing up two weeks late,” Fry remarked. “I think it’s inexcusable, the conduct of this administration. And quite frankly, the people of Maui and this country deserve better than what they’re receiving right now.” Visit JoeBiden.news for more stories about the lies of the incumbent president.
