A shocking number of psychiatric disorders that Western medicine tries to treat with pharmaceutical drugs have at their root a vitamin B12 deficiency, which is easily remedied through diet and supplementation. In a piece she wrote for The Epoch Times, Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) founding president Sally Fallon Morell unpacked the findings of a 2015 case report published in the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine (IJPM) concerning vitamin B12 deficiency and neuropsychological disorders. In that report, a 13-year-old boy from southern India who was following a traditional lacto-vegetarian diet suddenly stopped talking while exhibiting “rigidity, immobility, staring look, disturbed sleep, ideas of worthlessness and hopelessness, aimless wandering, and guilt and suicidal ideas.” Manifesting many common symptoms associated with autism, the boy was placed on an ever-evolving cocktail of drugs after being diagnosed with “acute schizophrenia-like psychotic disorder.” He was given: • Lorazepam, a drug used to treat anxiety disorders • Olanzapine, an antipsychotic drug • Sertraline, an antidepressant drug more commonly known as Zoloft • Aripiprazole, an antipsychotic drug When those four strong drugs ultimately failed the body, resulting in him becoming hyper with “suspiciousness, hearing voices, over-talkativeness, over-cheerfulness, inflated self-esteem, decreased need for sleep, increased appetite, increased pleasurable activities, and disruptive socio-education,” his diagnosis was revised to “schizoaffective disorder, manic type” and his Zoloft was replaced with divalproate sodium, a drug used to treat seizures. After the boy’s symptoms worsened even more, he returned for yet a sixth drug: lithium carbonate, a drug used to treat bipolar disorder. (Related: Did you know that vitamin B12 inhibits a key enzyme responsible for causing Parkinson’s disease?) Before taking dangerous pharmaceuticals, try upping your vitamin B12 levels first Nothing was working until finally the boy was tested for vitamin B12 levels, revealing that he was grossly deficient at only 112 nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL) – the normal B12 range is between 180-914 ng/mL, with 180 ng/mL being associated with the most severe manifestation of B12 deficiency, known as pernicious anemia. Even B12 levels of 500-550 ng/mL is considered in Japan and some European countries to be associated with psychological and behavioral manifestations such as dementia and memory loss. After the boy was given several injections of vitamin B12, lo and behold his symptoms improved and his diagnosis was revised to “schizoaffective disorder secondary to Cobalamin (vitamin B12) deficiency” – problem solved. It was a very simple solution – and a safe one, at that – and yet it took multiple rounds of erroneous drugging and testing before Indian doctors were able to figure out that the boy simply lacked a necessary vitamin crucial to his brain health and mental abilities. “B12 deficiency is associated with a wide range of psychological disorders – depression, memory loss, Alzheimer’s, anxiety, irrational or chronic anger, violent behavior, and other psychological problems,” Morell notes. “And vitamin B12 therapy has proved useful for a range of conditions deemed neurological – vision problems, loss of hearing and tinnitus, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, alcoholism, impotence, incontinence, neuralgia, combat fatigue, and lack of balance or abnormal gait.” “In addition, low B12 is indicated in a range of other diseases – osteoporosis, asthma, skin conditions including psoriasis, diabetes, glaucoma, infertility, and of course anemia.” Among the best natural sources of vitamin B12 are meat and raw milk, as well as liver and mollusks. Some plant foods such as soy, mushrooms, and spirulina, also contain B12, but in a form that can actually worsen B12 deficiency due to the presence of B12 analogs called cobamides that can lead to an overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine. Internal documents extracted from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) show that the corrupt federal agency lied about science in order to push an aggressive pro-mask agenda during the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “pandemic.” The NIH under the leadership of now-departed director Francis Collins relied on inaccurate information and misrepresented medical research to falsely claim that wearing a face mask helps to prevent severe transmission of the Fauci Flu. And the agency did so in spite of conflicting scientific evidence in its possession demonstrating the exact opposite. If anything, masks make a person more prone to infection by blocking oxygen intake, not to mention the fact that mask material tends to harbor deadly pathogens and other exhaled waste, which sits right next to a person’s nose and mouth. In a recently obtained letter sent in November 2021 to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), leading epidemiologist Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, along with seven of his colleagues, warned the CDC that it, too, was promoting the same flawed data while excluding contradictory data showing that masks do not work to prevent infection or spread. That letter specifically called out the COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network, a program jointly created by the CDC and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), which contains false information that threatens to “damage the credibility of science” while endangering public trust by “misrepresenting the evidence” and giving the public “false expectations” about the alleged benefits they should expect to receive from wearing a mask. “We believe the information and recommendations as provided may actually put an individual at increased risk of becoming infected with SARS-CoV-2 and for them to experience a serious or even life-threatening infection,” Osterholm and the others wrote. (Related: The CDC also admitted in late 2022 that natural immunity is much better than covid “vaccines” at protecting human health.) If they try to force us back into masks this fall, remind everyone of Osterholm’s letter to the CDC Osterholm and his colleagues urged the IDSA to remove the suggestion that wearing a mask in any way prevents transmission of SARS-CoV-2 – because the fact of the matter is that masks do nothing except make the wearer look stupid and gullible. Osterholm emphasized that the U.S. government at the time showed a clear pattern of cherry-picking data that supported its narrative while rejecting data that opposed it. As a result, science became compromised, followed by widespread public mistrust in U.S. government agencies. The creators of the IDSA’s “Masks and Face Coverings for the Public” page chose to “focus on the strengths of studies that support its conclusions while ignoring their shortcomings of study design,” Osterholm explained. “Studies that do not support its perspective are similarly downplayed.” With funding from the CDC, the COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network was launched in 2020 as part of a government propaganda effort to push masks and social distancing as the solutions to covid. The IDSA itself also collaborates with the following big-name organizations: • The American Academy of Family Physicians • The American Academy of Pediatrics • The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists • The American College of Physicians • The Society of Critical Care Medicine • The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America • The Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists Though they never followed through with his request, Osterholm petitioned the CDC and the IDSA to address the “serious errors” published on its website regarding the “efficacy” of masks, where he says “irresponsible claims were made.” Don’t let the powers that be force you back into a mask this fall. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has vowed to kick-start a probe into President Joe Biden’s response to the wildfires that ravaged the town of Lahaina, located in the western portion of Hawaii’s Maui island. His promise to investigate the chief executive’s response followed the disaster that has killed more than 110, with more than 1,000 individuals missing. The house speaker said during an Aug. 23 appearance in New York that he is very concerned about the response. “We still have hundreds of individuals that are missing. I think there’s [going to] have to be a congressional investigation in response [to] what happened. How could we lose that many Americans in today’s age? And the federal response seems very delayed.” McCarthy also rebuked Biden for his initial refusal to comment on the disaster, alongside his delay in visiting the ground zero of the devastation. The president, while on vacation in his home state of Delaware, remarked “no comment” when a reporter asked him about the Lahaina wildfires. “The president’s response – to have no comment? That’s unacceptable,” the speaker remarked. “So I’m going to work with committees too to look at investigating what went on so that never happens again as well.” Meanwhile, the first couple visited Maui on Aug. 21 amid growing criticism over Washington’s perceived lack of support. The Bidens were met with mixed reactions during their visit. The presidential motorcade drove past disgruntled residents booing and jeering. Some took it a step further, giving the motorcade the middle finger and waving Trump 2024 flags. During his speech, Biden promised survivors of the wildfire that the federal government would support them “as long as it takes.” He continued: “The country grieves with you [and] stands with you, and we’ll do everything possible to help you recover, rebuild, and respect culture and traditions when the rebuilding takes place.” GOP reps: Biden visit to Lahaina “predictable” and “cringeworthy” The tourist town of Lahaina – home to 12,000 – was almost wiped off the map. Over 3,000 structures were turned to ash, with the estimated damage amounting to $5 billion. While no single cause has been determined for the fires as of writing, experts suggest power lines that weren’t shut off despite high winds may have caught fire when they fell. At least two of McCarthy’s colleagues in the GOP expressed disgust over Biden’s response to the Maui disaster. During an Aug. 22 appearance on Fox Business, South Carolina Rep. Russell Fry rebuked the president’s visit. “The ‘American last’ policies of the Biden administration were on full display,” he told the network’s Cheryl Casone. “I mean, it was the most cringeworthy visit of a disaster area that I’ve ever seen.” “I think it’s inexcusable, the conduct of this administration. Quite frankly, the people of Maui and this country deserve better than what they’re receiving right now.” Even House Majority Whip Tom Emmer from Minnesota blasted the president’s blunders at the disaster’s ground zero in a statement to Breitbart News. “Biden blundering in times of crisis is as predictable as a snowy Minnesota winter: it’s inevitable,” he wrote. “If his presidency has taught us anything, it’s to not hold your breath for competent leadership from this White House.” The Minnesota congressman referenced various gaffes by the incumbent while visiting Lahaina. Foremost among them is Biden’s downplaying of the suffering experienced by residents as he compared the wildfires to a small kitchen fire. He also insensitively joked about the “hot ground” at Lahaina while touring the town. When SHTF, whether due to societal collapse or a large-scale natural disaster, you will realize that going on a quick trip to the nearest store or pharmacy to stock up on supplies won’t always be an option. Visiting a doctor might not be possible either. But before things go south, you can learn about natural remedies for common aches and pains. Keeping a fully stocked natural medicine kit at home ensures that you can handle situations demanding medical attention. Knowing how to use a natural medicine kit can also help you get closer to a healthier and toxin-free lifestyle. Incorporating natural remedies like essential oils and herbs can help you minimize your exposure to artificial chemicals and additives often found in conventional over-the-counter drugs. (h/t to TheSurvivalMom.com) Adding these 10 useful items to your prepper first aid is necessary if you want to treat minor injuries, aches and pains after SHTF: Amber bottles with eyedroppers and small tins You will need amber bottles with eyedroppers and small tins to store your homemade essential oil mixes, creams and salves. It is best to buy or repurpose clean amber or dark-blue glass bottles because light can degrade many natural substances. Oxygen can quickly turn oils rancid, so keep all bottles and tins tightly capped. Aloe vera plant Aloe vera can help soothe a sunburn. You can use aloe vera gel for wound care and for treating insect bites. Avoid using aloe vera gel on third- or fourth-degree burns or severe sunburns because these injuries require medical attention. If possible, use pure aloe vera gel from an organically grown plant as commercially available aloe vera gel contains additives. Growing an aloe vera plant at home ensures you can easily harvest the gel without needing to go to the store. Aloe vera is a hardy plant and it can thrive indoors and outdoors. Coconut oil While coconut oil is great for cooking, it has other uses outside the kitchen. Coconut oil can also be used as a carrier oil for essential oils and as a skin lotion. To save money, buy coconut oil in large quantities and store it properly for later use. Essential oils With proper usage, essential oils are a versatile ingredient for various remedies. Here are some essential oils and how to use them for aromatherapy and relaxation: Use bergamot or ylang ylang essential oils for relaxation. Use chamomile or lavender essential oils for better sleep. Use jasmine or lemon essential oils to improve your mood. Use peppermint essential oil to wake up. Use orange essential oils to soothe anxiety. First aid essential supplies Your first aid kit should also include basic items like bandages in different sizes, gauze and medical tape. Keep basic first aid items and a first aid reference book in your survival first aid kit at home and in your bug-out bag. Lamb’s ear plant The lamb’s ear plant is a functional resource. The plant can be used as a natural bandage and boasts antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial qualities. (Related: 8 Ways to deal with chronic pain while prepping.) Midwifery book If there is any chance that an adult woman living in your house could become pregnant, you will need a midwifery or birthing reference book. Study the book well and do your research so you can offer help when seeking immediate medical care is not possible. Teas Like essential oils, herbal teas can address different issues like drowsiness, insomnia and an upset stomach. Teas can also help boost your vitamin intake. Chamomile tea Chamomile tea has calming effects and is frequently used as a natural sleep aid. According to studies, chamomile tea can help improve sleep quality in older adults and postpartum women. Experts also suggest that chamomile has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and liver-protecting effects. Echinacea tea Echinacea tea may help prevent and treat the common cold. Research shows that echinacea can boost the immune system, which could help your body fight infections. Ginger tea Ginger tea contains disease-fighting antioxidants and is a common remedy for nausea. Studies consistently find that ginger is effective at relieving nausea, especially in early pregnancy. Ginger also helps relieve nausea caused by cancer treatments and surgery. According to studies, ginger may help relieve indigestion, prevent stomach ulcers and reduce pain associated with menstruation. Hibiscus tea Hibiscus tea is known for its bold color and unique flavor. Some studies suggest that hibiscus could significantly reduce total and LDL (bad) cholesterol, along with blood pressure. Taking hibiscus tea extract can also significantly decrease oxidative stress. If you are not used to drinking hibiscus tea, consult a natural health practitioner for proper usage as it may interact with your medications. Lemon balm tea Lemon balm tea has a light, lemony flavor and may offer some health benefits. According to a small study, drinking lemon balm tea can help with arterial stiffness (a risk factor for heart disease), stroke and mental decline. Research also suggests that drinking lemon balm tea could increase the body’s natural antioxidant enzymes, which help protect against oxidative damage. Another review showed that lemon balm could help improve symptoms of depression and anxiety without serious side effects. Peppermint tea While peppermint tea is often used to support digestive health, it also has antioxidant, anticancer, antibacterial and antiviral properties. Research has found that peppermint oil can help relieve nausea, indigestion, stomach pain and other symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Vitamin E ointment A vitamin E ointment can help treat skin rashes. Vodka You can check guides and recipes online to learn how to infuse vodka with different medicinal herbs or plants to make tonics. A hot pepper tonic can hasten recovery from colds and congestion. How to do a skin patch test and why you need to test for skin irritation If it is your first time using natural remedies, perform a skin patch test to check for skin irritation. Always test a small amount of diluted essential oils or salves on a small area of skin before using it on a larger area. If you notice any redness, discomfort or itching, stop using it and thoroughly wash the area with soap and water. If the skin irritation persists, consult a healthcare professional. When to see a doctor While a natural medicine kit can be useful for treating common aches, pains and minor ailments, it’s important to know when to seek medical attention from a doctor. If you or someone you’re treating experiences severe or worsening symptoms, consult a doctor immediately. A doctor’s expertise is essential for diagnosing and treating more serious conditions, ensuring that proper medical care is provided when necessary. Your natural medicine kit will be a valuable complement to conventional healthcare, especially during a long-term survival scenario when it is impossible to buy or access medicinal supplies. However, knowing the limits of self-care and recognizing when expert medical guidance is needed is important for your well-being, particularly when dealing with severe injuries and health conditions. Russian officials claimed that private military company Wagner Group founder and chief Yevgeny Prigozhin is dead as he was one of 10 passengers aboard a plane that crashed in a field around 200 miles north of Moscow. Russia’s civil aviation agency, the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia), published a list of the 10 people on board a plane flying from Moscow to Saint Petersburg on Aug. 23. This plane, described as a private business jet, crashed near the village of Kuzhenkino in the Tver Oblast, around the halfway point between Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Video footage spreading on Russian news outlets and social media confirms that an aircraft was seen plummeting to the ground in Tver Oblast. The Rosaviatsia’s list includes three crew members onboard the plane. Other Russian authorities claim that eight bodies have already been recovered from the wreckage. It is not clear if Prigozhin’s body has been identified. (Related: Top Russian astronomer mysteriously ends up in hospital after FAILED moon mission.) Other reported passengers on the plane are Dmitry Utkin, the head of Wagner’s military operations, and Valery Chekalov, the head of Wagner’s security services. Two Wagner veteran officers and two of Prigozhin’s bodyguards were also among the listed passengers. The plane’s pilot, co-pilot and flight attendant also died in the crash. While Prigozhin’s death is still unconfirmed, both Russian state media as well as Telegram channels affiliated with Wagner have reported his death. Russian federal authorities have announced an investigation into the plane crash and have suggested that the plane carrying Prigozhin may have violated air safety rules. Wagner claims jet carrying Prigozhin was shot down by Russia The plane crash has immediately fueled suspicions regarding possible Kremlin involvement in the crash since the long-term fate of the Wagner founder has been the subject of intense speculation since his short-lived mutiny. In fact, pro-Wagner sources are already claiming that the plane was shot down by Russian air defenses. Videos shared on pro-Wagner Telegram channels claim to prove that the plane carrying Prigozhin was shot down because the plane immediately dropped from a large cloud of smoke – a kind of freefall that can occur when an aircraft sustains severe damage. Frame-by-frame analysis by the Associated Press supports the theory that the plane suffered some kind of explosion mid-flight. Other sources claim to have footage showing a Russian missile striking the aircraft carrying Prigozhin, with one supposed insider source claiming that Russian air defenses shot two S-300 missiles at the aircraft. Furthermore, Russian sources claim that a second Wagner Group-owned private business jet departed Moscow at around the same time the plane that crashed took off but then turned around and landed back in Moscow around the time of the incident. The existence of this second jet has fueled speculation that Prigozhin may still be alive and that the plane crash was a ruse for him to escape into exile. “The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) and the Kremlin have been destroying the Wagner private military company and weakening Prigozhin’s authority since the rebellion,” noted the military-focused think tank the Institute for the Study of War in one of its latest assessments of the ongoing conflicts in Russia and Ukraine. “Prigozhin was likely attempting to counter the Russian MoD’s and the Kremlin’s destruction of Wagner,” the think tank continued. “The assassination of Wagner’s top leadership was likely the final step to eliminate Wagner as an independent organization… Wagner PMC’s future without a leader remains uncertain.” “No matter what caused the plane crash, everyone will see it as an act of vengeance and retribution [by the Kremlin, and] the Kremlin wouldn’t really stand in the way of that [view],” noted political analyst Tatiana Stanovaya, a senior fellow for the think tank the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center. “From Putin’s point of view, as well as the security forces and the military – Prigozhin’s death must be a lesson to any potential followers,” she continued. Stanovaya does not believe there will be much outcry from the Russian public over Prigozhin’s death, and that those who supported him will likely be “more scared than inspired to protest.” Learn the latest developments within Russia at RussiaReport.news.
