A series of wildfires swept through the island of Maui and its historic Lahaina town in Hawaii in early August. However, the never-ending revelations about authorities’ questionable and poor decisions during the incident continue to unfold. Herman Andaya, now the former chief of Maui’s Emergency Management Agency, decided not to activate warning sirens during the wildfires. He claimed that doing so would have caused more confusion and wouldn’t have saved anyone. Moreover, children were left at home without their parents after power cuts on the island closed the schools – contributing to a large number of juvenile casualties. Following the poor decisions that led to more casualties during the wildfires, reports have emerged that authorities are turning away residents that arrive with much-needed supplies like generators and water. Survivors who receive water provided by the state government get sick after drinking. Hawaiian Electric, which promised to invest in preventive measures after the 2019 wildfires, still lacks preparedness. The local utility company obsessively focused on renewable energy while spending a mere $245,000 on wildfire safety over the four-year period between 2019 and 2023. Furthermore, M. Kaleo Manuel – an official at the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) – refused to release water for the West Maui fire. The deputy director for the DLNR’s  Commission on Water Resource Management believed in water equity and reverence for water as a privilege rather than a resource. A Maui resident says they were winning against the fires “until the water shut off.” Real estate developers taking advantage of the tragic incident in Maui Hawaii Gov. Josh Green has been vocal about his intention to prevent opportunistic land acquisitions by foreign entities and ensure that the recovery and redevelopment process prioritizes the interests of Hawaii’s people. “We don’t want this to become a clear space for overseas interests to exploit. The state will take the lead in preserving it first,” he said during a press conference. The Aloha State’s governor stressed the need to prevent exploitation and land theft: “You will be pretty poorly informed if you try to steal land from our people and then build here.” Despite the clear stance, reports have emerged of developers reaching out to residents about acquiring land owned by families for generations. They have exploited the situation by purchasing land from desperate homeowners. The fear is that without swift insurance payouts and adequate government aid, survivors might be compelled to sell to deep-pocketed buyers. These external parties could then rapidly gentrify neighborhoods and alter the character of the island. Long-time Maui resident John Dimuro expressed his neighbors’ collective sentiment: “The government should just say ‘No, you’re not allowed to develop.’ Say no, just flat-out no.” Jonah Lion, who runs an eco-cultural tourism company, affirmed the resolve of many islanders. He stressed: “No matter how much money you offer – no, we’re not selling. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued a new warning about cybercriminals who are exploiting the use of beta-testing apps to steal critical personal data from users. Beta-testing apps are services that allow app developers to test mobile apps before they are officially released. However, beta-testing apps are usually not subjected to the review processes of a mobile operating system. In a public service announcement released this August, the FBI warned that cybercriminals are “embedding malicious code in mobile beta-testing applications” to defraud their potential victims. The agency also warned that cybercriminals will often try phishing or romance scams to establish communications with the victim. After gaining their trust, the victims will be instructed to download a mobile beta-testing app hidden within a mobile beta-testing app environment, “promising incentives such as large financial payouts.” Malicious apps allow hackers to steal personal info Here are some potential red flags of a malicious app: Smartphone slows down when processing a request Faster-draining mobile battery The installation of unauthorized apps without the owner’s knowledge Exposure to persistent pop-up ads According to the FBI, these malicious apps allow hackers to steal personally identifiable information. The apps can also be used to access the financial accounts of victims and to take over their devices. The apps may look legitimate because hackers will use names, images or descriptions similar to popular apps. The agency advised users to always check app developer and customer reviews before downloading any app. Users were also warned to restrict app permissions and uninstall apps they’re no longer using. Other malicious apps may request access to permissions that don’t have anything to do with its stated functionality. For example, if an app description has spelling and grammatical errors or provides vague, generic information while details of functionality are missing, the FBI warned that people could be trying to download a malicious app. The FBI said it is already aware of various fraud schemes where unidentified cyber-criminals contact victims on dating and networking apps and instruct them to download mobile beta-testing apps, such as cryptocurrency exchanges, that “enable theft.” Because they believe they are talking to a real person, the victims will enter their legitimate account details into the app. Next, they will be sending money they think will be invested in cryptocurrency, but instead, the victim’s funds are sent to the cyber-criminals instead. The FBI warned that if smartphone users were to download a fraudulent app that is being advertised as a legitimate crypto investment app, they may end up losing money through fake investments. Additionally, it warned people to avoid sending payment to anyone with whom they have only spoken online, even if it seems like they “have established a relationship with the individual.” The agency advised users to also avoid opening an email, email attachment or message if they seem suspicious even if the installed antivirus software claims that they are safe to open. People should also be careful of unsolicited attachments, even when they come from known individuals, warned the FBI. When even the mainstream media is admitting that messenger RNA (mRNA) Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” are dangerous and “produce viral shedding,” you might want to pay attention. This is the shocking admission in a new piece from EVIE magazine, which is warning its readers to avoid having sexual relations with men who got jabbed for covid because their bodies are likely spreading spike proteins and other deadly substances in the process. “Shocker, it’s not just a conspiracy!” warns EVIE’s Andrea Mew. “New evidence has emerged suggesting that mRNA vaccines can produce viral shedding. So, perhaps you’re justified after all for being pretty picky about your sexual partner.” (Related: Earlier this year, research published by French pharmacologist Dr. Helene Banoun in the journal Infectious Diseases Research found that those who take covid injections do, in fact, shed their contents onto others, including sexual partners.) mRNA “rewrites the way your cells function” and “can interact with and change DNA,” EVIE reveals In Mew’s piece for EVIE, she references research showing that aerosolized antibodies from mRNA covid injections can be transmitted from vaccinated to unvaccinated individuals through a process called “passive immunization.” This might sound like a good thing, she writes, in that it implies that one is sharing “immunity” with another – “But it’s not so simple,” she warns. “Some critics, like podcaster Joe Rogan, have pointed out how the very nature of this ‘vaccine’ likens it more to experimental gene therapy than your typical vaccine,” Mew further states. “It’s true, what we’re currently dealing with are mRNA vaccines, not live attenuated vaccines. The latter contains a weak form of the virus that is meant to cause an immune response upon injection and therefore provide future immunity.” Mew goes to great lengths to unpack what we here at Natural News and many others across the independent media spectrum have been warning you about for years, only to be dubbed “conspiracy theorists” by the corporate-controlled media. It appears that things are changing, though, as a popular magazine for modern women is warning them to steer clear of men who got pricked by Tony Fauci and Donald Trump through Operation Warp Speed. In addition to “rewrite[ing] the way your cells function so that you can inherently prevent disease through protein production,” Mew further explains that mRNA jabs also have the ability to “interact with and change DNA.” “For instance, we know that the Covid shot wasn’t developed to interact with the human liver, and yet in a Swedish study, researchers discovered that the vaccine was altering liver cells,” Mew writes. “Then, in a Pfizer Japanese biodistribution study, news emerged that the spike proteins could travel from the injection site through your blood and accumulate in unintended tissues and organs like the spleen, adrenal glands, ovaries, bone marrow, and again, the liver.” Then we have the risk of myocarditis, as well as blood that becomes contaminated with “full-length spike protein” that is “unbounded by antibodies,” not to mention the specific risks to women involving menstrual irregularities and potential birth defects. Mew even references the aforementioned Banoun study, as well as another out of Colorado showing that fully vaccinated parents can transfer mRNA antibodies “via respiratory droplets” to their unvaccinated children. If face masks actually worked (spoiler alert: they don’t), then they would come in handy to protect one’s unvaccinated self against contracting an mRNA covid injection through the aerosolized respiratory droplets of a fully vaccinated person. “In the quest to advance modern medicine, we shouldn’t shy away from tough topics just because they may go against preconceived biases,” Mew writes in conclusion about these difficult truths. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has vowed to crack down on retail theft after a series of violent flash mob robberies targeted luxury goods stores in the city in broad daylight. LAPD Deputy Chief Blake Chow told reporters on Aug. 17: “The LAPD will not tolerate these acts. We will not stand by idly while these acts continue.” LA Mayor Karen Bass said on the same day that law enforcement agencies across LA County were joining forces to establish a task force aimed at stamping out retail theft. She promised: “If someone commits a crime, we’ll catch [them and prosecute them to the] fullest extent of the law.” The announcement of the task force came a day after retail thieves targeted a Gucci store in LA on Aug. 16. The group of 10 brazenly plundered the store in broad daylight, making off with handbags worth $100,000. Earlier on Aug. 12, dozens of people looted a Nordstrom in LA’s San Fernando Valley and made off with $300,000 of goods. High-end stores throughout the City of Angels have been targeted by masked groups who smash through display boxes and grab designer clothes and bags. Video clips posted on social media shows mobs of up to 50 people rampaging through upscale retailers, breaking glass and yanking away goods attached by security cables. Often, the raids happen in full view of other shoppers too stunned to intervene. Clerks and security guards, meanwhile, are seemingly powerless to prevent them. The video clips of the brazen robberies are cited by conservatives to support their argument that blue cities have an out-of-control crime problem. Robbery statistics in the area are mixed. The LAPD figures noted a decline in the year-to-date number compared to 2022. However, the LA County Sheriff’s Department showed a different number. It recorded an uptick in robberies during the first six months of 2023. Rapper 50 Cent says “LA is finished” because of retail theft Curtis Jackson, known by his moniker 50 Cent, put in his two cents about the Aug. 12 Nordstrom robbery in an Instagram post. He warned that the City of Angels is “finished” due to the rampant retail theft there. “I told you LA was finished,” he wrote. “They are [going to] have to lock the doors, appointment only.” The post from the rapper of “In Da Club” had a screenshot of a news report by KTLA 5 about the incident. This was not the first time the rap artist criticized LA’s situation on Instagram. Back in July, he pointed out that the city’s reinstatement of a zero-bail policy would further its collapse. 50 Cent wrote: “LA is finished. Under the policy, LAPD officers cannot detain suspects accused of misdemeanor crimes. This also extends to theft, shoplifting, drug use, vandalism, battery and other nonviolent crimes. Moreover, those currently in jail on such charges would also be set free. But a suspect violating the zero-bail schedule is immediately put back in jail on a cash bail system. This was not the first time the City of Angels implemented such a policy. During the height of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, LA put the zero-bail policy in place to reduce crowding in jails and curb the spread of COVID-19. LA officials ended the policy in September 2022 as the COVID-19 pandemic waned. However, it was reinstated in May 2023 after LA County Superior Court Judge Lawrence Riff sided with a group of activists who sued the county. The plaintiffs claimed that they had suffered under the cash bail system. Riff’s ruling may have played a part in the proliferation of smash-and-grab crimes in LA, as the culprits no longer fear jail time. The Society of Actuaries Research Institute published a report in May warning about a “stunning” 34 percent increase in young people dying (ages 35-44). The report concluded that “COVID-19 claims do not fully explain the increase” and that something much more catastrophic is destroying people’s lives. This trend of excess mortality began in the third quarter of 2021 and has continued ever since. The mainstream media, funded heavily by the pharmaceutical industry, used a running tally of COVID-19 victims in 2020 to promote lockdowns, mandates and various measures of medical tyranny and psychological abuse. Trying to appear compassionate and full of virtue, the mainstream media pushed “safety” measures that only caused more pain and suffering in the end. Today, the mainstream media is silent on the issue of excess mortality. More people are dying in 2022 and 2023 across all age groups. The mainstream media is not pushing emergency declarations or keeping a tally of these deaths to push for any government intervention, investigation, or societal action. Excess mortality is occurring across all age groups, especially in the young and previously healthy population, and the talking heads in the mainstream media won’t even ask why. The elephant in the room is stomping and roaring, but remains ignored In an important op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, Dr. Pierre Kory of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) says, “No one knows precisely what is driving the phenomenon, but there is an inexplicable lack of urgency to find out. A concerted investigation is in order.” The excess mortality represents a public health emergency that far exceeds the death and devastation during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. However, after pushing unlawful and unethical COVID-19 vaccine mandates, the mainstream media is hush-hush about any of the real-world results that have taken place after multiple rounds of vaccination have been pushed into the population. If the vaccine program was such a success, then COVID-19 would have been stopped in its tracks in 2021 and there would be fewer deaths throughout 2022 and 2023. The vaccine was not the savior that the mainstream media made it out to be. By remaining silent about the real-world consequences post vaccine, the mainstream media becomes a co-conspirator in the crimes against humanity that have taken place during this global scandal of medical tyranny and experimentation. “When you see what happened in the youngest age groups, it’s absolutely terrifying.” Kory told the Defender. “In general, a stable society has a certain percentage of people dying every month, every year, every day. Those rates are stable over time,” he explained. “When you see more people dying than the baseline, it’s considered excess mortality. It’s an increase in the amount of people dying within a population.” Kory said that he and co-author Mary Beth Pfeiffer did not mention the COVID-19 vaccines in the op-ed because if they did, their concerns on excess mortality would never have been published. This goes to show that mainstream media is covering up for the vaccine industry and not allowing for debate or investigation that is crucial for the future of medical ethics and the integrity of the scientific method, not to mention, the lives and livelihoods of populations around the globe. Kory questions why there is not outrage on this issue. “The massive number of post-pandemic deaths has managed to interest only a cadre of data specialists, scientists, physicians and journalists who believe mistakes were made in pandemic management,” Kory wrote. “But why, we ask, has this issue engendered a deafening silence rather than urgently needed, high-level investigation.” Getting to the heart of the issue in his personal Substack, Kory writes that “the sudden, unprecedented rise in life insurance claims in the 3rd quarter of 2021 among the healthiest sector of society — working age, white-collar Americans with group life insurance policies” has one plausible cause: COVID-19 vaccine mandates. “What happened in the white-collar workplace at that time?” Kory wrote. “I will give you the only possibilities that could explain such a sudden rise: a series of terrorist attacks, wartime mobilization, or the proliferation of corporate vaccine mandates.
